A original acrylic painting of the critically endangered oceanic whitetip shark. Usually being solitary and slow-moving they cover a vast strethes of empty waters scanning for possible food sources such as tuna or sqid. Mostly
accompanied together with a few pilot fish which scavenge off the leftovers. The pilot fish are carnivorus fish of the jackfish family. These two species of fish help each other, the pilot feeding on the parasites on their host and small
pices of food that the shark does not eat. Inturn they are safeguarded by their pradatory host which would protect them from hostile creature to the pilot creating a ‘mutualist’ relationship.
